Artist Exhibition Poster and Info Card - Vladimir Kush

For this Type I assignment, we chose an artist whose work we admired and designed a poster and info card for an exhibit of theirs. I chose Vladimir Kush because his artwork is so imaginative and whimsical. The focus was to select and arrange type to clearly and effectively convey the essential information. Artist name, date, gallery information, and a short description were all required so varying font weights, colors, and sizes were necessary to the success of the poster and card.

Ultimately, I went with my first comp and focused then on giving the type elements a better hierarchy in a more visually interesting way.
