For this Motion II project, our first instructions were to order Chinese takeout. It certainly was a delicious way to start a project, however, the main objective was to get hold of a fortune slip from a fortune cookie. Using only the fortune as a guide, we were to animate a short video focusing heavily on the type elements to reveal the fortune's message.

I wanted to work more with stop motion and thought the effect of it played in well with the lightness of the video. I also enjoyed working with other ways of expressing type, especially outdoors, as a change from typefaces you can find using a computer.
